Aberdeen claimed a fourth win of the season over Inverness, this might not be enough to see us achieve the dream of winning the Premiership title ahead of Celtic, but it’ll almost certainly secure runners-up spot.

This one-nil win at Pittodrie means that we’ve now extended our lead over Inverness, to what should be an insurmountable lead of 11-points, to end the season as runners-up to Celtic at the very least….

Chances didn’t come too freely in the first half, the best of them did come to us though with McGinn and Rooney both threatening in the goalless opening 45-minutes of this game – one that Inverness knew they had to win to have any chance, albeit unlikely anyway, of catching us.

Finally the breakthrough came for us when a Robson corner was headed home by Taylor (47) just a couple of minutes into the second half to give us the lead and set us up for a win to end the run of successive draws, which had come after the crushing Celtic defeat.

The points would have been secured if McGinn’s effort hadn’t hit the post, while Watkins almost grabbed Inverness a point but his own effort hit the bar as we claimed all three-points.
