It seems a little pointless to run our poll any longer.

With the Rangers lead looking insurmountable and Hearts going into freefall, only Hibs are showing any signs of giving the Dons a challenge for 3rd but they are 11 points behind.

The main challenge for 3rd should have been from Hearts but internal confusion, sorry unbridled madness has caused them to lose players, managers, fans, respect, money, a sense of their own nationalism and all that has accumulated in not many points recently which means Aberdeen basically should have no need to look down anymore and can regard the UEFA spot as their own.

Just don`t ask Michael Hart to comment on that though.

The dreamers, believers and blind faith voters, all 22% of you clicked for a second spot finish and whilst we all hope it end this way, the bookies would love to take your money.

Most realistic people, 42% infact voted that Aberdeen would end up in third, which is still a decent final outcome and would see the Red Army embark on some much missed Euro adventures for the first time in 5 years.

Not many in the poll believed that Aberdeen would finish fourth, perhaps only a handful of Hibs fans I would imagine and only enough to achieve 5%.

31% of the vote went to fifth place in testament to how many ‘visitors` we have from fans of other clubs on the site w obviously wish the Dons well in the final league run in.
