Aberdeen’s slim chances of catching Celtic and winning the Premiership have been slightly revived but it’ll still take a mighty slump for us to win it now, literally Celtic have to ‘throw it away’ at this stage as opposed to us ‘winning it’ as such.

We’ll look to put on a little extra pressure when we take on Dundee United at Pittodrie today.

The one and only main injury absentee for us is captain Russell Anderson (knee), but even he is getting closer to a first-team return and could do this before the season is out?

He got a good hour under his belt for the U20 side on Wednesday as he seeks to make his comeback after eight-months out.

Dundee United have John Rankin and Jarek Fojut available again after they beat Hamilton last time round to end a run of 10-matches without a win.

If we’re going to keep alive, as said, that unlikely dream of winning the title we’ve got to win first and foremost on Saturday. Will we do this?
