I’m not trying to use any cheesy Vladimir Romanov cliche, but to me it suits our draw perfectly.

First up, Panathanaikos. In my opinion an all or nothing game. Alright, two wins can get you through this stage but this is a game that will determine the confidence of the players for the other three ties. A draw would be a brilliant result.

Then we welcome Lokomotiv Moscow. A win is a must and not much more need be said. Anything less than 3 points and I fear we could be relying on that freak result on another game to go through.

Then it’s off to Madrid to play Atletico. Undoubtedly there will be a large turn out by the red army for this one and a point would be great but a win would put the team in the record books.

The final one, Copenhagen at home. Home wins are vital and I’m sure a strong home support can spur the team onto miracles.

To clarify:

Panathanaikos vs. Aberdeen – 25th October

berdeen vs. Lokomotiv Moscow – 8th November

tletico Madrid vs. Aberdeen – 29th November

berdeen vs. Copenhagen – 20th December

Maybe not a cash booster but it certainly leaves us with that hope of qualifying for the next round. As I said before…Believe!
