Former Aberdeen and Scotland striker,Billy Dodds has joined Partick Thistle till the end of the season.

Doddsy who has played for the Jags before on loan in 1987,has gone back to the club as he feels that he still has plenty of goals left in his shooting boots and does not want to hang them up just yet.

The former Dons,Dundee United,Rangers and Dundee player,
will bring not only experience but total committment to the Firhill club.

Billy has been a popular figure will all his previous club’s and was part of the Dons Coca Cola Cup winning side that brought the Dons last trophy north as he and Duncan Shearer both scored in a 2-0 win over another of Billy’s former side’s Dundee in the 1995 final.

I am sure everyone at Pittodrie would wish Billy well at his new club, even Jimmy and Sandy !

I know Billy well and I can say that he is honest, genuine
and a likeable guy and I wish him all the very best as he struts his stuff down Maryhill way and I don’t mean
the Viking or Framptons !

Firhill will be a more happier place with Billy Dodds there !
