Aberdeen’s Scottish Premiership season continued with a nil-nil draw with Partick at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

The chance (again, as the title says) to top the Premiership was missed by Aberdeen! With Celtic’s game at Dundee postponed a win would have seen the Dons top the table at the end of the year but for a second successive game a draw is all that could be secured.

Graeme Shinnie hit the crossbar in the first half with Kenny McLean and Niall McGinn both denied by saves in the second and Adam Rooney failed to hit the target with a late chance he had as the points were shared to end 2015.

These were the results.

Tuesday 29th December 2015
Ross County 3-2 Kilmarnock

Wednesday 30th December 2015
Hamilton 3-4 Inverness CT
Aberdeen 0-0 Partick Thistle
Dundee P-P Celtic
Hearts 3-2 Dundee Utd
Motherwell 2-0 St Johnstone

Some very high scoring games to end the year!

Ross County edging out Kilmarnock in a five-goal thriller three-two with another five-goal thriller seeing Hearts do enough to end the year with a three-two win at Tynecastle against struggling Dundee United.

What a game at Hamilton though seven-goals saw Inverness go away with a four-three win.

Who was the Dons MotM in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.
