Aberdeen turned on a 5 star performance for their fans after last weeks 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock.

The Hibs players and fans must have been still in party mood after last weeks win over Hearts but the Dons gave them a real going over here at Pittodrie today.

The Dons knew that any more slip up’s would see their chance’s of a UEFA Cup spot vanish but they sent their supporters home happy after this performance.

The Hibs defence were caught napping and this allowed Stevie Crawford to put the Dons in front after only 15 minutes. Not long after that it was the turn of Stevie Lovell to hit the back of the Hibs net with a cool finish.

On 54 minutes Lovell blasted the ball into the roof of the net before Ricky Foster added a fourth for the dandy Dons.

Hibs had their chances with Dalglish and Riordan hitting the woodwork for the Hibess but it was the Dandy Dons who came out on top and they have hit top form with this fantastic win,in fact it was the Dons best League win for 4 years.

Now they can enjoy their weekend before facing Hearts in mid-week at Tynecastle.
