Aberdeen Manager Jimmy Calderwood,is waiting to find out if Feyenoord are looking for a fee for on loan Dutchman,Ferne Snoyl. The Dons have been impressed with Ferne so far and would like to keep him at Pittodrie but may be priced out of a move for the flying Dutchman.

After Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Ibrox,Gary Dempsey feels that the Dons boo boys are starting to see the best of the midfielder, who feels that he had his best game in a Dons jersey.’It gets you down when you get abuse,I am only human but I know that I am at a big club with huge expectations’.
The lad was very unlucky not to score on Saturday as he saw a shot crash off the Gers crossbar and maybe Gary is right, the Dons are seeing the best of him now,so back him don’t boo him.

Speaking of Saturday’s match, the Dons travelling support have been given some stick for some of their song choices.Tunes about the Ibrox disaster and the tackle from Dons legend Neil Simpson on Gers Ian Durrant were heard by some observers at Ibrox and these are not welcomed.

What the Dons support are forgetting is,not only Ian Durrant suffered on the fateful day at Pittodrie,Neil Simpson did not have the best of times in the days and years and months and even years that followed.Simmy was not at his best after that.Anyone who knows Simmy or watched him as a player knew that he was not a dirty player but his reputation was ruined by the press and others after the tackle on Durrant.

While Rangers are under the scope for their choice of tunes,it will not be long before the Dons have the microscope turned on them if this hatred bewteen themselves and Rangers continues with chants that cannot and will not be welcomed at Pittodrie or in Scotland for that matter!
