Aberdeen blew a two goal advantage against Motherwell and now have to face a sweat next Saturday against Inverness Cally,to see who can claim the top six spot.

The Dons had lead twice through two Steve Lovell goals and looked to be in easy street but the old ways and the lack of a killer third goal and a spirited fight back by Motherwell and their never say die spirit under Manager Terry Butcher, got them back into the match before half time and level in the second half.

A draw was just about right for this match but the Dons will feel that it was points dropped and next week’s match is their Cup Final and a massive match to claim that top six spot !

Lets hope the players are in the right frame of mind for next week, will the real Aberdeen FC please turn up !
