Aberdeen know the Scottish Premiership games against Celtic, Hearts, Ross County and Celtic again in September and October have been selected for Sky Sports or BT Sports coverage.

Some of these games, as the Official Website informed us, will involve a change of day from that originally scheduled and that’s always a pain but part and parcel of it with needs must from the extra revenue these TV deals bring in I guess!

First up Champions Celtic’s visit to Pittodrie has been brought forward to 12:30pm on Saturday 12th September so this can be broadcast on Sky Sports.

A week later, with this game put back 24-hours, when the Dons got to Tynecastle to take on Hearts this will start at 12:45pm on Sunday 20th September to again be shown on Sky Sports that lunchtime.

It’ll be about a month of football without any proposed schedule changes before BT Sport get in on the act with the trip to the Global Energy Stadium when we face Ross County brought forward for a 7:45pm kick-off on Friday 16th October.

The last, for the time being, changed kick-off will come on Halloween when the visit to Parkhead to take on Celtic is brought forward for another Sky Sports game on Saturday 31st October. This will be a 12:30pm kick-off now.

No doubt we’ll see more games on Sky Sports and/or BT Sports as the season unfolds but these are the initially select games….
