Last months poll results have been counted and are in as follows:-

The question asked was “In what position do you think Aberdeen will finish this season in?”

47% of votes cast suggested Aberdeen will finish 2nd

23% said that the Dons will finish in 3rd place

17% of people who voted thought Aberdeen would qualify for Europe

13% said that as usual, Aberdeen would certainly finish above Caley whatever happened.

Thanks for taking part, there was a really good response and lets hope the majority of voters are excellent visionaries.

This months vote is concentrated on Jimmy Calderwood`s priorities with regards to re-signing players who are free to talk to other clubs if they have not reached an agreement with Aberdeen by January.

The concerned are….

Russell Anderson:- Russell has stated he would like to stay despite Old Firm interest and Jimmy must act fast to at least ensure the Dons will the appropriate transfer money for the 28 year old international.

Andrew Considine:- Had an excellent match against Celtic and surely lots more to come from the 18 year old defender. Should the manager be looking to secure the Dons team of tomorrow first?

Gary Dempsey:- Starting to show the form which attracted Calderwood to bring him in from the cold at Dunfermline. The ex-Everton man played for £20 a week to try and secure his present deal and has become a first team regular.

Darren Mackie:- Top scorer so far with 7 in the league and an Aberdeen fan to boot. Has given all he can for the Dons and has been rewarded by goals. Should a contract extension follow?

Jamie Smith:- Should have been in the Scotland B team that faced Ireland but resisted fearing an injury relapse. Gives the Dons a different dimension in attack and offers them width and 9 goals from the wing last season proves he is a finisher as well as a creator.
