Aberdeen go into the match with Hibs after drawing 0-0 with Killie last week in a match with few chances as both teams cancelled each other out.

They will be hoping that they can repeat their win of a few weeks ago when a Scott Severin cracker helped the Dons to all three points with a 1-0 win.

This week we have seen the Dons get a deal to have short sponsor now and also agree a fee of £15,000 with HamKam from Norway to bring young 16 year old,Frederik Engelhardt to Pittodrie after the young defender impressed during a week long trial at the club earlier in the season.
Boss,Jimmy Calderwood said that this is the start of a new recruitment policy from abroad.

With the news this week that Setanta have signed a new two year extension with the SPL,covering more games this time featuring 22 matches from teams outwith the Old Firm,so the Dons fans can hopefully look forward to seeing their team on the box more often.

Jimmy Calderwood has started his Pittodrie clear out with the news that Danny Griffen and Neil MacFarlane will be allowed to leave in the summer.

With regards to today’s match the Dons can welcome back Richie Byrne after three month’s out with a shoulder injury but are still missing Michael Hart and Chris Clark but the good news is that Jamie Smith and Steve Lovell have shrugged off injuries.

For Tony Mowbray’s team,Scott Brown may get a start and Kevin Thomson has returned from a stomach bug. They are missing Killen,Stewart and Beuzelin as they head for Pittodrie after beating their great city rivals Hearts 2-1 last week.
