Aberdeen will look to go into the international break in a positive note with a victory at Dundee today, in the lunchtime kick-off at Dens Park.

This game was of course controversially changed at late notice (Click Here), which wasn’t well received!

Dundee will have Greg Stewart (calf) available again with their top goalscorer back to boost the attacking option. Injuries will continue to keep out Gary Irvine, Jim McAlister, Luka Tankulic and Gary Harkins though.

Derek McInnes (Click Here for his pre-match thoughts) has fitness concerns over Jonny Hayes, Willo Flood and Peter Pawlett so some, if not all, could miss this game? One that’s definitely out is again is Russell Anderson.

Andrew Driver scored for the Development Squad in the week and could play a part but it’s thought that perhaps today is too soon.

Ahead of the game McInnes told the BBC.

‘Against Motherwell we weren’t good enough defensively, and we weren’t good enough to get into any sort of flow or rhythm to cause them any problems.

‘I credit Motherwell for that, I thought they were excellent, but I expected more from my team.

‘They’ve always given us a good game. They’ve always caused us problems, always shown a real attacking threat against us.

‘Ironically our best performance against them was the game we lost, and probably our worst performance against them, we won.’

Will we get another win today?
