Aberdeen have confirmed that Ryan McLaughlin and Josh Parker will return to their parent clubs when their loan spells with us naturally expire on January 11.

Speaking briefly, manager Derek McInnes said.

‘I would like to thank both players for their contributions while here at Pittodrie and wish them all the very best in their future careers.’

McLaughlin came to us from English Premier League side Liverpool back at the end of August and he started one match for us – taking in four more substitute appearances in his time at the club.

His last appearance came in the two nil victory over Dundee United back in early November.

Parker arrived from Red Star Belgrade back in August as well, and the Antigua and Barbuda skipper also made one start for the club – taking in seven further appearances from the bench.

His last appearance came for us back in the mid October two nil loss to Ross County though.
