Kevin McNaughton will stay with Aberdeen for the time being after his trial with Fulham has fallen through.

McNaughton was all set to go to London after helping the Dons to a 2-1 win at Easter Road over Hibernian were he put in a great performance alongside Russell Anderson.

Aberdeen Manager,Jimmy Calderwood, was gutted for Kevin as the move fell through but happy that he still at Pittodrie but upset at the way the deal fell through.

It is not often a move like this comes along and it was no wonder that Kevin was upset,as he did not even get the chance to show Chris Coleman what he could do !

Fulham are said to be trying to sign Wayne Bridge on loan from Chelsea till the end of the season and have been looking at other options.

Kevin may still get away from Pittodrie if former Dons striker, and now Manager of Norwegian club Molde,Arild
Stavrum,has his way.

The club sent two scouts,Terje Jacobsen and Snorrie Strand,to watch McNaughton at Easter Road on Saturday and were very impressed with what they saw.

So for Kevin and Aberdeen it is just a case now of watch this space !
