Aberdeen have come to Glasgow to face Celtic in Scotland’s match of the day.

Vital Quotes:

Aberdeen have came down from the North, where their own Pittodrie pitch is covered in snow and the roads down from the North are tricky due to snow and ice.

The Dons did not want this match to go ahead as they felt that the SFA and SPL were asking the Pittodrie faithful to take their lives in their hands by travelling in such conditions !

The plee however fell through and the Dons must focus on what will be a very hard task at Celtic Park today.

Celtic hammered 8 past Dunfermline a couple of weeks ago and they will be looking to continue the good form of their own by keeping the gap bewteen Hearts and themselves as the Tynecastl men don’t play until Sunday.

In the past these matches were often a battle to see who was going to come out on top as in the eighties the Dons and Celtic where both title contenders but much has changed for the Dons since then !

Celtic are still going for the SPL title under former Dons hero,Gordon Strachan-the fans on both sides have had a close relationship with the wee man, some more closely than Gordon would like !

It should be a great match with the Dons trying to get 6th spot in the SPL and Celtic trying to keep going towards the SPL title and make sure they don have the same heartache as last season !

Match Prediction:

Celtic looked very good against a poor Dunfermline side the last time out,I think the Dons will give the Tic a hard time but that man Hartson and Mr Zurawski may just be too hot for the Dons,Celtic 2-0 !
