Niall McGinn got Aberdeen into an early lead when he headed in a Kenny McLean cross inside 10-minutes with Adam Rooney getting his 50th goal since signing for the Dons when he headed in the second, from a McGinn cross this time, before the break.

The game was over a minute into the second half when McLean was involved again setting up Johnny Hayes to add the third with a late fourth coming from Shay Logan 10-minutes from time after being setup by a Peter Pawlett backheel.
