Aberdeen secured a four-three win over St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Adam Rooney got Aberdeen off to a flyer scoring after just five-minutes. Peter Pawlett, with an effort deflected, made it two with a freekick before the break. Early in the second half David Wotherspoon got St Johnstone back into the game with Niall McGinn restoring the two-goal lead.

Rooney’s second made it four-one and seemingly job done but a 79th-minute Steven Anderson goal gave St Johnstone some hope once more with Tam Scobbie scoring through a crowded box to pull another one back in the last minute for the Saints but Aberdeen held on.

The above video shows the highlights from this game at McDiarmid Park as Aberdeen made it 12-matches unbeaten in this tough battle to join Celtic at the top of the table.
