Aberdeen Manager,Jimmy Calderwood has won the Bank Of Scotland Manager of the Month for February.

The Dons have hit a rich vain of form and boss Calderwood has landed this award as a result of the Dons results !

The Dons only blip was going out of the Scottish Cup to Hearts but they beat Hearts,Hibs and Rangers during February as the Dons made their way up the table and to within a point of the top six.

As Jimmy collected the award he had some words for the top brass in Scotland !

He called for more to be done for the game in Scotland and branded the lack of indoor training facilities a National embarrassment ! Few would disagree with him !

With the state of facilities in Scotland for players to train during severly bad weather,it is no wonder our National team is in such a state !

The Dons are hoping to travel to Celtic Park for tomorrow’s clash with Celtic and they come face to face with an old friend and former hero of many, the now Celtic Manager,Gordon Strachan.

This clash will provide Gordon with many happy memories,
do you remember any of the following matches ?

Celtic 2 Aberdeen 3 season 2004/2005
Celtic 1 Aberdeen 3 season 1982/1983
Celtic 1 Aberdeen 2 season 1979/1980

What about the famous match at Pittodrie where Golden Boot boy Frank McDougall scored all 4 goals and got a perfect 10 in the Sunday Mail in a 4-1 win ?

A full preview of tomorrow’s clash, weather permitting will be here for you tomorrow.

The Dons have had their appeal for the match to be called off, turn down so it looks like all roads lead to Celtic Park on Saturday and if you are coming to Glasgow, take care on the roads please !
