Mark Kerr today officially signed for Arabdeen…I mean er, Aberdeen. He will be joining former Dundee United team-mates Lee Miller, Lee Mair and Stuart Duff after signing a two year deal.

‘I have a very good feeling about this move. It is a step forward in my career.’, he told the club website.

He told the Evening Express, ‘I did have a few options and spent most of my summer visiting clubs in England. But after speaking to Jimmy Calderwood I realised I was maybe rushing going down south.’

Manager Jimmy Calderwood also told the Evening Express, ‘Mark had offers from England, luckily enough he chose Aberdeen. I`m sure he`ll be a big success here.’

The 26 year old’s first game in a Dons shirt looks to be this Saturday against Manchester United. God almighty…
