Aberdeen’s success this season, with Niall McGinn among those that impressed, could come at a cost as reports say Leeds and Bolton could be interested in taking him to the English Championship?

Both clubs are managed by manager’s that have previously worked with McGinn as Leeds are now managed by Uwe Rosler, who took him on loan to Brentford when he was still a Celtic play in the 2011/12 season.

It was his former manager Neil Lennon that opted to release him from Parkhead in 2012, which is when he came to Pittodrie, but now manager of Bolton it’s claimed that Lennon wants to work with him again.

These reports say that a £500,000 offer for the 27-year-old Northern Ireland international could come our way, which could be an offer we could be tempted with, not that McGinn has expressed any desire to leave the Dons.

When Bolton were questioned about this apparent interest by the Evening Express they reported back that a spokesman told them ‘they do not comment on transfer speculation’ so we’re none the wiser!
