Aberdeen have recently confirmed an arrival, with 22-year-old Aaron Lennox coming in but Paul Quinn has now taken his leave of Pittodrie.

The Dons, having lost Danny Ward to his Liverpool recall, had already brought in ‘keeper Adam Collin on loan from Rotherham but also added former QPR youngster Lennox to the squad with the Australian coming in on a deal until the end of the season initially.

An Australian U23 international he’ll be mainly involved in the U20 side for the remainder of the season as he looks to earn a longer-term deal with the club with Scott Brown back in as the present no.1 and likely to remain that way until the end of the current campaign you suspect.

Leaving the club though is Quinn, with him existing after 18 appearances for Aberdeen leaving to sign for former club Ross County.

The Official Website released this brief statement confirming his exit, and of course thanking him for his efforts and wishing him well.

‘Aberdeen FC can now officially confirm defender Paul Quinn has this afternoon left the club.

‘Paul made 18 appearances during his time at Pittodrie but will be remembered fondly for the winning goal he scored during our 2-1 win against Celtic in September.

‘Everyone at the club thanks Paul for his contribution during his time here and wishes him all the very best in his future career.’
