Aberdeen are represented in the latest Scottish Professional Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The best eleven was selected by Craig Fowler.

The performance by Shay Logan in the three two victory over Ross County at Victoria Park at the weekend was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Scottish League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Logan was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the SPFL blurb read.

‘The right back continued to attack into the opposing penalty area despite his side being down to 10 men for most of their match at Ross County. This paid off as he forced one goal and scored another in the 3-2 win.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Logan for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the victory.

Full Team:

Jordan Millar (Montrose), Shay Logan (Aberdeen), Peter Grant (Falkirk), Efe Ambrose (Celtic), Igor Rossi (Hearts), Arnaud Djoum (Hearts), Gary Hopkins (Dundee), Craig Slater (Kilmarnock), Barrie McKay (Rangers), Shane Sutherland (Peterhead), Leigh Griffiths (Celtic).
