The Scottish Professional Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Kilmarnock this weekend.

Aberdeen travel to Kilmarnock on Saturday December 19 for the game at Rugby Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Steven McLean

Match Day referee McLean has officiated three Aberdeen games this season – the two nil victory over Kilmarnock in August, the two nil loss to Hibernian in September and the two nil win over Dundee United in November. Ten yellow cards were shown across those three games, two to Aberdeen.

He has however already taken in nineteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Motherwell and Partick Thistle on September 26 with a total of seven yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
