The Scottish Professional Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against St Johnstone this Friday.

Aberdeen travel to St Johnstone on Friday April 22 for the game at McDiarmid Park and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off for screening by BT Sport.

Referee: Craig Thomson

Match Day referee Thomson has officiated three Aberdeen games this season.

He has however already taken in 38 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 162 yellow cards and seven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Dundee and Hearts on August 8 with a total of nine yellows being shown. He also showed nine in the Scottish Cup tie in February between Hearts and Hibernian.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
