McGhee completes signings four and five

Togo international Folly impressed while on trial with Aberdeen. The defensive midfielder, capped at youth level with France before making his senior debut with Togo, started his career at St-Etienne before moving to England and has played for Southampton, Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday.

Englishman Vernon, 26, who becomes Mark McGhee’s fifth new pre-season signing, has been somewhat of a journeyman having plied his trade as a striker at a number of clubs in England’s lower divisions. Clubs which include Oldham, Blackpool, Northampton, Gillingham, Southend and Colchester United.

Both have signed two year deals.
