Aberdeen defender,Kevin McNaughton may just have waved goodbye to any chance of staying at Pittodrie after rejecting a new deal.Dons gaffer,Jimmy Calderwood thinks

McNaughton is over estimating his worth after turning down the clubs latest offer.Apart from Aberdeen only the Old Firm and Hearts and Dundee United pay better wages in Scotland ! Unless Kevin goes down south then a possible move to join Dons old favourite Gordon Strachan at Celtic is one rumour doing the rounds as Gordon is looking to add to his squad during the transfer window and Kevin is a player who has been linked with Celtic on more than one occasion.

Jimmy is looking to bring one or two in also to add to his squad. He is looking at a Dutch trialist,Dyron Daal and is looking at the possibility of bringing in Gavin Rae from Rangers on loan but that would depend on Alex McLeish and if he would allow a player who has already missed a large part of his Rangers career through injury to go on loan to another SPL club .
