Stuart Duff will be offered a long term contract at Aberdeen according to the Evening Express. After a dodgy start, Duff impressed all of us in the post-split games and that seems to have won him a deal at Pittodrie.

Preston North End are leading the race for Barry Nicholson’s signature according the to Evening Express. One of the most consistent members of the first team, Nicholson will be difficult to replace. He will be reunited with Michael Hart, who left Pittodrie in January to sign for Preston.

Richie Foran seems to be close to signing for the Dons. The Southend United striker was outbid for by Southend instead of Aberdeen two years ago. Should he pass a medical, he will sign a three year deal for 50’000 pounds, according to the Evening Express.

Aberdeen have agreed a 15’000 pound deal to sign Sammy Stewart from Glenavon according to the Evening Express. If he passes a medical, the transfer should be done and dusted by next week. The midfielder is meant to be something of the future however, and would only go into the youth squad.

Betrand Bossu will sign a two year deal with Aberdeen according to Sky Sports. The French goalkeeper has been looking for a club since departing Walsall earlier this summer.
