Today it’s off to Inverness in a game in which the home side will be desperate to smash the woeful record of never beating the visitors.

Last season it was late goals galore with all three encounters finishing in a 1-1 stalemate. In the first match it was Inverness who took a share of the spoils at the death with a goal from Wilson in the 90th minute. But at the Caledonian Stadium, like today’s match live on Setanta, Steve Lovell scored in the 1st minute of injury time to send the small number of Dons fans that made the trip north[er] happy. But undoubtedly the pick of the lot was the last match up at Pittodrie when Inverness scored with three minutes remaining but it was that man again, Steve Lovell who scored in the 93rd minute to keep hold of Aberdeen’s impressive record.

Both sides will be fresh and ready to go after the extensive international break but the visitors have are the ones suffering the most from injuries at the moment. Considine, Clark, Smith and Hart all miss out and Darren Mackie is hopeful.

Langfield in between the posts; Diamond, McNamara and Foster protecting him; Severin, Nicholson, De Visscher and Chris Maguire in the middle with Darren Mackie and Lee Miller up front is my prediction. Hopefully we will see Steve Lovell come off the bench to bag one or two and if we see Sone Aluko at all I will be a happy man!

Brewster will not come back to haunt us and a resounding 3-0 victory to the Aberdeen it will finish – you heard it here first.

Mon eh Dons!
