We’ve, as things stand, played two more games than Celtic but we moved level on points with them again as we secured an 11th win from the past 13 games on Saturday.

A comfortable three-nil win at Pittodrie against St Mirren sets things up nicely for the game at Celtic Park next weekend….

Rooney had a couple of chances before it was a case of third time lucky for him, he had already claimed a goal as his first effort was cleared off the line but he got this when Considine headed McLean’s effort back across goal with Rooney (21) scoring from close range.

Minutes into the second half McLean set up Rooney (48) and he doubled our lead with the points wrapped up with 20-minutes to play when a McGinn corner was headed home by Reynolds (70).

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
