Celtic weren’t in Premiership action this weekend, they played in the Scottish Cup, but Aberdeen were and we’re keeping up the pressure on them by ending a three-game winless run in convincing fashion against Ross County.

Three second half goals made sure that we convincingly beat Ross County four-nil at Pittodrie to move level on points with Celtic, albeit them having two-games in hand….

Early pressure eventually paid off with Reguero’s fumble capitalised upon by Rooney (12) to give us the lead, which was taken into the break.

Rooney set up Pawlett (50) who went round Reguero to roll in the second just after the break, and even though Ross threatened to get back into the game we killed this off just past the hour when Logan (61) blasted home a beauty into the top corner.

A four-nil win was secured when Goodwillie (85) came off the bench to score five-minutes from time, leaving us second to Celtic on goal difference alone now but we know we’ll need some Celtic slips again from the two-games they do have in hand.

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
