Aberdeen’s Scottish Premiership season continued with a draw against St Johnstone at Pittodrie on Saturday.

Having suffered the disappointment of defeat last time round, and the loss of Adam Rooney to injury, Aberdeen missed the chance to capitalise on Celtic’s draw with Hamilton in this one-one draw with St Johnstone.

The lead looked as if it would be cut to four-points when loanee Simon Church scored from close range in the first half but with only two-minutes to play Liam Craig scored a controversially award penalty to deny the Dons with Ryan Jack penalised.

These were the other results.

Friday 26th February 2016
Hamilton 1-1 Celtic

Saturday 27th February 2016
Aberdeen 1-1 St Johnstone
Dundee 1-1 Inverness CT
Hearts 1-0 Kilmarnock
Motherwell 3-1 Partick Thistle
Ross County 0-3 Dundee Utd
