UEFA have released the dates for the next round of the UEFA Cup and it has transpired that Aberdeen will not have to move their scheduled match on the 17th of March as Rangers are arranged to meet Osasuna on the previous Wednesday.

Even though Rangers are playing this leg of the tournament in Spain on the 14th, it has been agreed that this will be enough time for Rangers to recover and prepare for the vital encounter 3 days later.

Rangers play the first leg of their tie on the 8th of March at Ibrox and must be hopeful of progression as the Osasuna manager, José Ángel Ziganda, has recently stated that the UEFA Cup is only acting as a nice distraction from their main job which has to be fighting clear of relegation.

Osasuna currently sit just 5 points clear of a relegation place and lost their last game 2-0 at home to Espanyol. Osasuna defeated Bordeux 1-0 after extra time to win through to meet Rangers in the Round of 16.

A few tickets are surprisingly for sale in the Dons allocated area and can be bought by contacting the club on 087 1983 1903.
