Scotland may ask if they could use Pittodrie for their opening Euro 2008 fixture against the Faroe Islands on Saturday September 2nd.

Pittodrie has been used before for International matches and their has been an argument for a long time, that International matches should be moved around the country,as England do,to let the long suffering long traveling Tartan Army,(I hate that phrase)a chance to see their country play in a different stadium rather than Hampden Park !

The issue has been forced this time due to the fact that pop superstar,Robbie Williams is playing at Hampden that day on one of his two sell out gigs and Robbie will bring in more money to Hampden than Scotland !

I have a suggestion, let Robbie take on the Faroe Islands by himself,he could do no worse than the last performance that the home fans had to suffer there !

Instead of this Doe a Deer rubbish they could sing,’We’re loving Robbie instead !’

Just a thought !
