Aberdeen have been handed another away day in the Scottish Cup.After yesterday’s great result over Dundee United the Dons will have to go to Tynecastle to face Hearts in what should be a cracker of a tie. This fixture was the first game that Graham Rix was involved in after taking over from George Burley as Hearts Manager, that match ended in a 1-1 draw.

If Aberdeen are to go all the way to Hampden it looks as though they will have to be at their very best as Hearts are still rated one of the best sides in the country. This is also a repeat of the 1986 Scottish Cup Final when the Dons ran out 3-0 winners in what was to be Alex Ferguson’s last Cup win with the Dons.

The Dons will not however have Celtic to stand in their way this time as former Dons favourite,Gordon Strachan watched his side crash out of the Scottish Cup losing 2-1 to a very impressive Clyde side who deserved their win. As well as having Graham Roberts as their Manager his assistant is former Dons favourite Joe Miller.
