Scott Severin`s stunning match-winning strike from the Hibs game on the 30th of October this season has been nominated as one of the SPL`s goals of the season.

The match had been heading for a draw and was into injury time when Severin controlled a clearance from the Hibs defence and strode forward. He classily sidestepped two Hibs sliding tackles before unleashing a left footed drive from outside the box which smashed into the ‘keepers right hand side of the net.

The goal earned the Dons the points against one of their Euro rivals and the importance as well as the skill and spectacular nature of the goal should see his effort as one of the main contenders for this season`s award.
