Aberdeen were due to be at McDiarmid Park as the visitors to St Johnstone for the latest league match, which was meant to be 12:30pm kick-off however, this has been postponed!

Due to a ‘waterlogged pitch’ this Scottish Premiership game couldn’t go ahead.

The BBC said.

‘St Johnstone’s Scottish Premiership match with Aberdeen has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

‘An inspection took place at McDiarmid Park at 08:00 GMT and referee Bobby Madden deemed the surface unplayable.

‘St Johnstone said on their website there had been “continuous rain from Saturday into Sunday” in Perth.

‘A statement on the Aberdeen website thanked Saints for the early pitch inspection and “for their consideration for the large Dons travelling support”.’

The date for the re-arranged game will be announced once agreed.
