Vital Quotes:

Jimmy Calderwood spoke of the good quality of the playing surface when compared with Pittodrie:
‘I was at the ground recently and it looks fabulous.

‘It is a wonderful playing surface and you can play the ball at pace there. I think our flair players like Sone Aluko have found it difficult at home in the past couple of games to get one-on-one with opponents.

‘When the pitch is like that you are probably better to play away from home because you don’t need to take the game to the opposition as much.
