Well, I reckon it would be easiest to start by naming who shouldn’t start on Saturday, rather than who should.

SOUTAR – almost cost us top 6 against Falkirk and followed that up against Queen of the South by gifting them the first goal and looking like he’d never played in goals for the other 3.

McNAMARA – worst performance in a Dons shirt against Falkirk was beaten against Queen of the South. Hasn’t got the legs anymore and made an arse of himself by running up the tunnel when he was subbed on Saturday.

SEVERIN – should have been dropped ages ago. Is it just a coincidence our best performances of the season were when he was on the bench? Been a hopeless midfielder and captain the whole season. Why Calderwood made a guy who publicly admitted he isn’t vocal the captain god only knows.

MAGUIRE – no skill, no strength, no shot. His goals against Gretna, Caley and Falkirk papered over the cracks that he actually played crap as per.

Who should replace them:

LANGFIELD – by far the better goalkeeper but does make one too many howlers. Just needs to get that out of his system.

TOUZANI – put Foster back into left back for Christ sake Calderwood. Foster had his best season for us last season when he was played in left back yet against Queen of the South you decided to play him right midfield? Put Touzani into the centre of midfield. He allows the rest of the midfield to push forward with them knowing he’s there to clear everything up for them.

WALKER – Calderwood said a few days ago the reason Walker isn’t getting a game is because he doesn’t think he can play along side Severin. Simple solution you clown, drop Severin. Severin is captain of Aberdeen, Walker is captain of the England youth team. By far the superior player.

LOVELL! – even with the best goalscoring record at the club, he was the only striker who didn’t even make the bench on Saturday. The Lovell/Miller partnership was never really given a chance because Lovell isn’t one of the ‘yes’ men at the club. It could have been one of the deadliest in the SPL.

So I guess that leaves us with:

Langfield

Maybury Diamond Considine Foster

Walker Nicholson Touzani Aluko

Lovell Miller

Bring it on!
