Greg Tansey looked as though he would be coming to Aberdeen but the move for the Inverness midfielder broke down as terms couldn’t be agreed.

The Scottish Cup winner last season was on his way to Pittodrie after a release clause was met by the offer the Dons made, reportedly something like £200,000, but broke down on Monday night.

Also leaving the club today are teenagers, and part of the U20 squad, Lukas Culjak and Jamie Henry.

19-year-old defender Lukas, who signed from Borussia Dortmund last year having previously been with Bayern Munich, has signed for League One side Brechin City with 18-year-old Henry, who has been with the Dons since he was 14, signing for League Two side Arbroath FC.

Both deals take them through until the end of the season.
