It’s a home fixture for us this time round as our bid for the SPL title continues against a side battling to remain at this level, a win would be expected but isn’t guaranteed at all….

Aberdeen, looking to keep the pressure on Celtic, take on struggling Ross County at Pittodrie today, a side we’ve already beaten three-nil and one-nil this season so we’re looking for the hat-trick, and would hope to get it – if we couldn’t we would be bitterly disappointed!

Kenny McLean, fresh from his £300,000 move from St Mirren (which you would have had to be on another planet not to have gathered he made this week) should come into midfield for his debut. Fellow arrival Lukas Culjak, who came if from Borussia Dortmund, isn’t likely to ne involved though as we look for a first win in three.

Ash Taylor and Russell Anderson (both knee) are out along with Nicky Low, whereas Declan McManus rejoined Morton on loan so he’s obviously not available either.

Ross County have it all to play for, they’re six-points adrift and don’t want to lose anymore ground on St Mirren or Motherwell but can call upon Ruben Palazuelos and Raffaele de Vita, signings on deadline day.

Cameron Burgess (ankle) and Michael Gardyne (rib) are back but Richard Brittain (hamstring), Ben Frempah (ankle), Rocco Quinn (hip) and Darren Barr (knee) continue to sit out.
