Tommy Wright has finally put pen to paper and signed for Aberdeen on a 3 year deal.

Wright scored 15 goals for Darlington last season, and has been tipped by former Dons fans’ favourite and current English Premier League striker Dean Windass to become a cult hero at Pittodrie.

Windass told the Evening Express: ‘I’ve seen Tommy play for Darlington a few times before and he’s a nasty striker.’

‘The fans will love him because of his great attitude and real will to win.’

‘I’m sure he will be successful and it would be great if he could build up a rapport with the Aberdeen fans like I enjoyed.’

The deal is reportedly worth near £100,000.

Meanwhile former Don Steve Lovell has signed for Falkirk.
