Aberdeen drew one-one with Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday as the chance to move back up to second was missed, as was the chance to close the gap on leaders Celtic.

With both Celtic and Hearts drawing on Saturday Aberdeen had a chance to go second and close the gap on the Bhoys to five-points, however like those two the Dons returned from the international break having to settle for a point!

The visitors got off to a flyer when McLean fired Aberdeen ahead after only four-minutes but this wasn’t a lead the Dons could hold with Imrie earning Hamilton a point with 20-minutes to go as he followed up for a simple tap-in after Ward had kept out Kurtaj effort.

Both side could have won it in the end but had to be content with sharing these points…
