Striker and leading goalscorer, Lee Miller, has returned to training and will play this weekend at Fir Park. Miller picked up a hamstring injury, which has kept him out for four matches, while playing for the dons against St. Mirren His return comes at a crucial time with the dons looking to secure their place in the top six and push on for a European slot. Jimmy Calderwood told the Evening Express of his delight at Miller`s return:
“Everything has gone well with Lee so far and that`s great news for us.
“He was badly missed in our last four games, and Lee has been in tremendous form this season.
“It would be a massive boost to have him back for a game that could seal our place the top six.”
Aberdeen`s frontline did appear toothless without Miller whose recent form had brought him into the reckoning for George Burley`s Scotland squad. Unfortunately however Miller was forced to drop out of the squad last week due to the aforementioned hamstring problem.
Let`s hope Miller`s return is enough to inspire the team to a victory at Fir Park, which would seal Aberdeen`s place in the SPL`s top half.
