Aberdeen’s Scottish Premiership season continued with a defeat against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Friday.

The chances of Aberdeen pushing Celtic all the way were slim as it was, following a three-nil defeat at St Johnstone these chances ended completely.

St Johnstone were ahead in the 14th-minute when David Wotherspoon scored with a freekick. This lead was doubled shortly before half time by Steven MacLean as he turned in a Steven Anderson header.

The match was put beyond any doubt on 55-minutes when Liam Craig more poor Dons defending was punished leaving Celtic requiring just two-wins to confirming a fifth title in a row, the first could come against Ross County on Sunday?
