Aberdeen, once again, were beaten at Celtic in Scottish Premiership on Saturday with a 21st successive defeat at Celtic suffered in a three-one setback meaning the Dons have now taken just a solitary point from the last five-matches in the Premiership.

Griffiths finally put Celtic ahead, after Rooney had several chances, in the final minute of the first half, with a rash challenge early in the second half giving Griffiths the chance to double this from the spot, which he too.

The points were secured on the hour when Forrest added the third with Rooney grabbing a late consolation with a last minute header.

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Celtic Park, which leaves Aberdeen now seven-point deficit on Celtic, having just a few weeks ago led them by five-points.

A Dons title push has been left in taters and second place lost to Hearts, who won on Saturday, too with Aberdeen with it ‘all to do’ simple to finish as runners-up again at this stage….
