Aberdeen secured a two-nil win, which got the Dons back to winning ways, over Dundee United in Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The first half was goalless but early in the second half Rooney’s header opened the scoring and put Aberdeen ahead against the Premiership strugglers with the points secured, and any doubts the win wouldn’t be seen out against Dundee United, when Hayes added the second for the Dons.
