Aberdeen have cash to splash

Yes, you did read the title correctly. In today`s Evening Express McGhee revealed Aberdeen has a bigger budget than last year to spend in the transfer market.

Having only secured one new signing so far this season, Rory McArdle, and loosing out on Kevin Kyle to Hearts, McGhee still insists the club is great shape to bring in new players.

As a Dons fan this just adds to the frustration felt because there doesn`t seem to be much activity in the transfer market.

We desperately need creativity in midfield and at least one striker that can guarantee fifteen goals a season. With this in mind do we truly believe that we have the cash to splash?
