New deal for Grassi

Davide Grassi has today agreed a new one-year deal with the Dons.

Aberdeen had initially offered the Italian defender a short-term six month contract. However, Grassi has held talks with McGhee and has been offered an extension.

With Charlie Mulgrew’s immanent departure for Sheffield, this appears to be a good deal for both club and player. Grassi may even find himself Aberdeen’s first choice left back for the start of this season.
