Some quick bits of transfer news for all Dons fans before they sit back and enjoy the World Cup.
Aberdeen are still in negotiations with Derek Soutar to bring the 24 year old keeper to Pittodrie.Nothing has been decided yet but as soon as it has,I will get the news on Vitalfootball asap !
One player who has expressed an interest in a possible move to the Dons,is Motherwell defender,Steven Hammell but the Dons are one of a number of clubs showing an interest in the 24 year old defender and it will be interesting to see if new Well boss,Maurice Malpas can persuade the defender to stay on at Fir Park or will he move on ?
Good news on the playing front this week for Dons fans.Chris Maguire has signed an extension to his contract that will tie him to the club for the next three years.
Chris has come through the youth system and is really settled in Aberdeen and is very highly thought of by the staff at Pittodrie,definately one to look out for in the future!
Sheffield Wednesday are the latest club to show an interest in Kevin McNaughton.
Aberdeen will play Everton on August the 8th at Pittodrie and I will give you a full preview of the Goodison Park side as well as a full match report,when I return from my break.
